Does the Doxy USB-C Wand work while plugged in, or does it run on a battery?
It runs directly from the USB-C cable, so power is constant and never dips. There is no internal battery. You'll need a USB-C power source, such as a wall adapter or laptop port. A plug adapter is not included.
Is this wand waterproof or safe to use in the shower?
No. The ABS body is not waterproof. The removable silicone head can be rinsed separately, but the wand itself should stay dry. Keep the USB-C port away from water entirely.
How does the Doxy USB-C compare to the Die Cast 3?
The USB-C model delivers the same deep, rumbly motor signature Doxy is known for, in a lighter ABS body rather than die-cast metal. It trades the Die Cast's heft and broader pattern set for a lower price and the convenience of USB-C charging.
What lubricant is safe to use with the silicone head?
Use water-based lubricant only. Silicone-based lubes can degrade the silicone head over time, even with thorough cleaning.
How do I clean the wand after use?
Remove the silicone head and wash it with mild soap and warm water, or a dedicated toy cleaner. Wipe the ABS body with a damp cloth. Let both parts air-dry fully before reattaching.
Does this wand have a travel lock?
No travel lock is built in. Because it requires a physical USB-C connection to operate, there is no risk of it turning on in a bag. Coil the cable and pack it without concern.
