What it does

Pipedream's Moist is a straightforward silicone-based lubricant that trades the thin, quick-drying feel of water-based formulas for a thicker, lotion-like glide that is built to outlast a long session. The 1 oz size is right for a nightstand drawer or a weekend bag, not a full-size supply. It plays well with silicone-based lube's usual trade-off: skip it if your toy collection is heavy on silicone, since the two materials do not get along. For condom use, pair it with latex or polyisoprene for a safe glide.

FAQs / Q&A

  • What is Moist Silicone Lube made of?

Moist is a silicone-based personal lubricant with a body lotion-style texture, made by Pipedream. The silicone base is what gives it a longer-lasting glide than typical water-based formulas.

  • How much Moist lube should I use per application?

A dime-to-quarter-size amount usually covers a full session since silicone lubricants are concentrated and spread thin. Start small and add more only if you need it.

  • How do I clean Moist silicone lube off my skin and sheets?

Silicone lubricant needs a proper wash with soap and water rather than a quick rinse, since it resists water on its own. Keep a towel nearby and wash fabric promptly to avoid lingering residue.

  • Can I use Moist lube with condoms and silicone toys?

It is compatible with latex condoms, making it a safe pick for partnered use. Skip pairing it with silicone toys though, since silicone-on-silicone contact can break down a toy's surface over time.

  • Is the 1 oz size enough to try before buying a bigger bottle?

Yes, the 1 oz bottle is sized for a trial run or a weekend away, giving you several uses before you decide on a full-size bottle.

Care Instructions

  • Keeps gliding through long sessions without reapplying every five minutes.
  • Plays nice with latex condoms; give silicone toys a separate bottle.
  • Caps tight and travels clean in a bag, nightstand, or weekender.
